The danger on the roads of Pakistan is growing by the day. People generally do not follow traffic rules. The most common traffic rules violations include using mobile phones while driving, driving without a helmet and driving carelessly. Every day, thousands of people hit the roads in the country, but many do not think about the dangers around them. Traffic police may be present on the roads, but traffic rules are hardly followed or enforced. Poor road conditions make the situation even more dangerous.
Now wonder road accidents are increasing day by day, putting the lives of drivers, passengers and pedestrians at risk. While the authorities are primarily responsible for the violations on the roads, the public cannot be absolved of the blame. So both the government and the public must realise their respective responsibilities and make sure that our roads are safe for the users.
