Woman attacked over loan dispute

. A woman allegedly suffered fractures to her jaw and hand after being assaulted by her brother-in-law during a dispute over repayment of a Rs60,000 loan in Badami Bagh. According to the FIR, the woman's parents had lent Rs60,000 to Abdul Rehman, nephew of their son-in-law, who allegedly failed to repay the amount. The woman's parents travelled from Faisalabad to Lahore to recover the money. A quarrel broke out at the house, during which the suspect allegedly assaulted his sister-in-law, leaving her with fractures to her jaw and hand. Badami Bagh police registered a case on the complaint of the injured woman's brother, Yasin.
