KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh government has decided to intensify targeted operation against terrorists, their facilitators, extortionists, criminals and anti-state elements. A high-level security meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah decided to intensify operations against terrorists. The meeting reviewed overall law and order and situation of the province, including Karachi, and the security situation across the province, including threat matrix, intelligence-based security measures, and counter-terrorism preparations. The meeting decided to further intensify targeted operations against terrorists, criminal elements and their facilitators and to maintain the state writ at all costs. The CM while appreciating the performance of the security agencies directed that the linkages, intelligence sharing and mutual cooperation between all relevant agencies should be made more effective to ensure sustainable peace, public security and establishment of state writ. The meeting was attended by top civil and military officials, including the provincial interior minister and the Karachi Corps Commander.
