Free medical camp held in Kot Hathial

ISLAMABAD, Sep 29 (APP): The District Health Office Islamabad on Tuesday organized a free medical camp in Kot Hathial, Union Council Bhara Kahu, to provide basic healthcare and essential medical services to local residents. The camp offered free outpatient medical consultations, medicines and basic health screening, along with chest X-rays, blood sugar testing and tuberculosis screening. Residents were also provided free hepatitis B and C screening, while children received vaccination services. Health teams also provided free counselling on family planning. The initiative was aimed at improving access to basic healthcare services for residents of the area and promoting early detection and prevention of common diseases.
