The head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the occupied West Bank of Palestine, Zaher Jabareen, said on Saturday that the deputy head of the movement's political bureau, the Mujahid martyr Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri, was a complete school of resistance and dedication.
In a speech reviewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Jabareen stated on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Hamas commander Saleh Al-Arouri that he was 'a hero whose body is gone, but whose spirit and actions remain present and will not be absent,' explaining that Al-Arouri remained steadfast until he attained martyrdom in the field of the eternal battle, 'Al-Aqsa Flood.'
He added that 'Sheikh Al-Arouri, the loyal son of Palestine, the son of the West Bank, restored the pivotal role of the West Bank in the resistance project, and was firm in principle, not compromising on rights and constants.'
Jabareen affirmed that what is happening in the West Bank is not isolated events but an open Zionist war targeting people and land, pointing out that Gaza was always in the heart of Sheikh Al-Arouri and remains the symbol of pride and dignity, and the witness that resistance remains despite all oppression and plotting.
He called on the people of the Palestinian people in the West Bank to increase steadfastness and unity, emphasizing that all statements and projects that bypass the fixed rights of the Palestinian people are destined to fail.
The head of Hamas in the West Bank stressed that the resistance is permanent and deeply rooted, and the will of the Palestinian people will not be broken, no matter how long the time or how great the sacrifices.
