Hubbard continues to play winning basketball

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – The Hubbard girls basketball team continues to play at a high-level as they've accumulated three straight wins after their 50-26 victory over Jefferson on Saturday afternoon. Related stories: Chloe Cicero led the Lady Eagles with 16 points and 5 assists as Layla Songer added 12 and Serena Martinez (5 rebounds) and Khamyah Howell (4 rebounds) both contributed 6 points apiece. Hubbard (5-5) will travel to Niles for a Monday clash. After a thrilling double-overtime win over Conneaut on Dec. 19, Jefferson failed to open the new year with a successful effort. Jefferson was paced by Grace Dzura and Dani Furman who scored 8 and 7 points, respectively. The Falcons (2-6) will meet Edgewood on Wednesday. Δ
