The Green Bay Packers made six more roster moves on Saturday, adding two players from practice squad to the 53-man roster, placing two players on injured reserve and elevating two players from the practice squad to the gameday roster for Week 18.
The six moves made on Saturday bring the team's total to 23 during the week leading up to Sunday's regular season finale against the Minnesota Vikings. Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst were busy reshaping the fringes of the roster to account for an avalanche of injuries and the team's decision to rest key starters during a game that means nothing for the Packers' playoff positioning.
The Packers announced the following moves on Saturday:
The Packers needed depth at several positions and chose to fortify receiver, offensive line, tight end and linebacker with help from the practice squad. The 2025 season is now over for Jennings, who suffered a throat injury this week, and Williams, a third-round pick who has battled a foot injury for two months.
Of note, the Packers did not elevate quarterback Desmond Ridder from the practice squad, meaning Malik Willis or Jordan Love will be the backup quarterback behind Clayton Tune on Sunday in Minneapolis.
The Packers and Vikings are scheduled for a noon kickoff from U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.
