crow is crow and cuckoo is cuckoo

काकः कृष्णः पिकः कृष्णः को भेदः पिककाकयोः। वसन्तसमये प्राप्ते काकः काकः पिकः पिकः।। kākaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ pikaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ ko bhedaḥ pikakākayoḥ। vasantasamaye prāpte kākaḥ kākaḥ pikaḥ pikaḥ।। After all a Crow is black in and the cuckoo too is black. What on eart is the difference between them? We will know the difference when the spring season arrives. The crow flies around picing and eating dirt and garbage and produces hoarse crawing noises that woud break the eardrums. However the cuckoo soars in the sky singing with sweet and heavenly voice that would be necar to the ears. The crow is crow and the cuckoo is cuckoo. കാകഃ കൃഷ്ണഃ പികഃ കൃഷ്ണഃ കോ ഭേദഃ പികകാകയോഃ। വസന്തസമയേ പ്രാപ്തേ കാകഃ കാകഃ പികഃ പികഃ।। . കാക്കയ്ക്കും കറുപ്പുനിറമാണ് കുയിലിനും നിറം കറുപ്പ് തന്നെ.. രണ്ടും തമ്മില്‍ എന്ത് വ്യത്യാസമാണ് ഉള്ളത്? . വസന്തം വന്നെത്തിയാല്‍ നമുക്ക് ആ വ്യത്യാസം തിരിച്ചറിയാം. കാക്ക ചപ്പും ചവറും ചികഞ്ഞുതിന്നുകൊണ്ട് വികൃതമായ ക്രോ ക്രോ എന്ന ശബ്ദത്തില്‍ നിലവിളിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് എല്ലായിടത്തും പറന്നു നടന്നു നമ്മുടെ ചെവി പൊളിക്കും. കുയില്‍ ആകാശത്തില്‍ പറന്നുയര്‍ന്നു നമ്മുടെ ചെവികള്‍ക്ക് അമൃതം പകരുന്ന സംഗീതം പകര്‍ന്നുകൊണ്ട് നമ്മെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കും. കാക്ക എപ്പോഴും കാക്കയായിരിക്കും. കുയില്‍ എന്നും കുയില്‍ തന്നെ.
