Attock Police Finalise Comprehensive Eid-ul-Azha Security Plan

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th May, 2026) Attock Police have finalised a comprehensive security plan for Eid-ul-Azha under the directives of District Police Officer Sardar Mavarhan Khan to ensure protection of citizens' lives and property and maintain law and order across the district during the festive days. According to the police spokesperson, Eid prayers will be offered at 285 mosques and 13 open places throughout the district, where more than 1,200 police officers and personnel, including 21 Elite Force sections, will perform security duties. Authorities said a coordinated round-the-clock patrolling system has also been activated to strengthen vigilance and emergency response. Under the security arrangements, special police pickets have been established at bazaars, shopping centres, parks, recreational spots, and other public places to provide citizens with a peaceful and secure environment during Eid celebrations. Additional police force has also been kept on standby at Police Headquarters to tackle any emergency situation promptly. APP/rhn/378
