An emergency road closure will be taking place in Clare on October 22.
The M18 Junction 11 NB slip road (Dromoland) will be closed to allow Colas JV, on behalf of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), to carry out an investigation of drainage.
The road closure will take place overnight, from 8pm to 6am, to inconvenience the least amount of drivers possible.

'In order to carry out this investigation safely, there is a requirement to close the northbound on slip at Junction 11 between the hours of 8pm and 6am on the night of Thursday, October 22,' the local authority said in a notice issued via social media.
'During this time traffic will be diverted via the R458 to Clarecastle, and the N85, where drivers can join the M18 Northbound and J12 (Ennis).'
A diversion route map has been made available via the Clare County Council website, so drivers can make themselves aware of the other options available to them during the closure.
