28th Int'l pediatric conference opens Pediatric experts discuss child health advances

Doctors and medical experts from Pakistan and abroad discussed the latest research, diagnostic approaches and treatment strategies in child healthcare as the 28th Biennial International Pediatric Conference opened at the Serena Hotel Islamabad on Friday. The three-day conference, organized by the Pakistan Pediatric Association (PPA) Federal Branch under the theme 'Next-Generation Child Health Care: From Research to Excellence,' runs until October 18. More than 5,000 doctors and pediatric specialists from Pakistan and other countries are expected to attend over the three days. The conference is being held in Islamabad after a gap of ten years.
