Breast cancer awareness seminar held

GUJRAT - The University of Chenab organised a seminar and awareness walk to highlight the importance of early detection and prevention of breast cancer under the Pink October campaign. Deputy Commissioner Gujrat Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi attended the event as the chief guest, while University Rector Engineer Muhammad Raza Chauhan was also present. According to an official source, the deputy commissioner stressed the importance of early diagnosis, proper medical guidance and public awareness in combating breast cancer. She emphasised the need to educate women about the disease and encourage them to seek timely medical examinations. The seminar and awareness walk were organised by the university's Department of Allied Health Sciences to promote awareness about breast cancer, encourage preventive healthcare and express solidarity with women affected by the disease.
