According to the reconciliation statements, the rape victim has allegedly forgiven the abusers, and the case is closed. The reconciliation statements received further backlash.
In response to the case’s verdict, Mawra Hocane had expressed her disappointment and anger over the very favourable turn of events for the alleged rapists. She stated that it was a “ridiculous and irresponsible response”.
Here is the post by Mawra Hocane:
This is a ridiculous & irresponsible response. We’re not going to let this go . We all must not . This is the reason why a crime as heinous as rape is so common.@MJibranNasir @HniaziISF @fawadchaudhry @ImranKhanPTI
What’s worse than the news is the response. Sulah nama? Really? https://t.co/5L1nWLj8qS

The Aangan star had emphasized taking strict action against the rapist and to properly investigate the case. Mawra Hocane has recently graduated as an Advocate from London along with fellow artist Uzair Jaswal and we are glad to see the artist cum lawyer raising her voice against the injustice.
