AI to drive good governance and public service in Punjab: Ali Dar

Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on AI and Special Initiatives Ali Dar has said that Artificial Intelligence is ushering in a new era of development, improved governance and public service delivery in Punjab, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to ensure that the benefits of AI reach every citizen, sector and community. Ali Dar said the objective of introducing AI in Punjab goes beyond technological advancement and focuses on bringing meaningful improvements to the lives of ordinary citizens. He said AI is being leveraged to make public services faster, more efficient, transparent and citizen-friendly. He highlighted that AI is opening new avenues across key sectors, including education, agriculture, healthcare and industry. He said the Punjab government aims to equip young people with AI knowledge and modern skills so they can benefit from emerging opportunities in the digital economy. Ali Dar emphasized that the benefits of AI would not be limited to large institutions, adding that ordinary citizens and small businesses would also be enabled to benefit from technological advancements.
