Pakistan outclass China 3-0 in Pool B hockey clash

ISLAMABAD, Sep 24 (APP): Pakistan hockey team displayed an outstanding performance, securing a 3-0 victory against China in the Pool B match of the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026. The first goal was scored in the 19th minute when Pakistan's Abu Bakar Mahmood, converted a penalty corner to give the team an early lead, said a press release. The second goal was netted in the 24th minute by Sufyan Khan, who also scored brilliantly on a penalty corner. The third goal was scored in the 28th minute by Hanan Shahid, who struck a superb field goal to extend the national team's lead to 3-0. President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, congratulated the team on this remarkable victory and expressed hope that the national team will maintain the winning momentum in the upcoming matches of the tournament.
