HYDERABAD - SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Dr Sumeer Noor Channa has taken immediate notice of an incident involving a 13-year-old girl in the Qazi Ahmed police jurisdiction, leading to arrest of four alleged suspects by Qazi Ahmed police. According to police, the incident occurred three days ago. The girl, Anila, was found near her home in an intoxicated condition. A day before her mother, Mst. Wakeela, wife of Ayaz Ali Khokhar, had lodged a report at Qazi Ahmed Police Station stating that her minor daughter was missing. After receiving information about the incident, SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Dr Sumeer Noor Channa directed SHO Qazi Ahmed and his team to conduct a complete and transparent investigation, provide justice to family and arrest those allegedly involved.

On the instructions of SSP, Qazi Ahmed police registered FIR No. 416/2026 under Sections 376(3), 375-A, 337-J and 468 PPC on the complaint of Mst. Wakeela, wife of Ayaz Ali Khokhar. After sustained efforts, technical investigation and professional work, police arrested four alleged central suspects identified as Muhammad Shah son of Chhutal Shah, Yasir son of Sain Bakhsh Shah, Mst. Rehana wife of Chhutal Shah, and Mst. Khushboo daughter of Chhutal Shah. All four suspects are residents of Qazi Ahmed. Police said that during preliminary interrogation, the suspects confessed to crime. According to police, the suspects allegedly gave the girl an intoxicating substance, subjected her to the incident and later left her near her home before fleeing. Further investigation is underway.
