Its position on Netflix's worldwide chart indicates that the film has attracted viewers despite its reception. On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 19% of 32 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 4.9/10. Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 46 out of 100, based on 16 critics, indicating "mixed or average" reviews.
