Report: Thomas Pieters not on board for LIV Golf 2.0

Thomas Pieters will not sign up for LIV Golf 2.0 and plans to play on the DP World Tour next year, he confirmed to Flushing It Golf. The 34-year-old Belgian was a member of captain Dustin Johnson's 4 Aces team for the past two seasons in LIV Golf. Pieters is a six-time winner on the DP World Tour, most recently at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in January 2022. He joined LIV Golf in 2023 and reportedly earned more than $25 million in prize money. Pieters competed on the 2016 European Ryder Cup team, posting a 4-1-0 record in a 17-11 loss to the United States at Hazeltine. He joins other notable names who are not returning to LIV Golf as it attempts to restructure without financing from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. Spanish superstar and three-time LIV Golf individual season champion Jon Rahm tops that list, which also includes Sergio Garcia, Abraham Ancer, David Puig and Adrian Meronk.
