Carpenters Ground Methodist Church, 3538 Best Road, Maryville: A community potluck dinner will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Donations will be accepted but are not required. Cold Springs Community Club, 616 Cold Springs Road, Walland: There will be no monthly gospel singing for October. The next monthly gospel singing will take place on Saturday, Nov. 14. Hamburgers, hot dog and desserts will be available beginning at 5 p.m. Crossroads will be singing. East Maryville Baptist Church, 1150 Brown School Road, Maryville: A Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, Oct. 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be free food, drinks, games, crafts and. more. Festivities will also include inflatables, coffee bar, hayrides, cake walk, bonfire, photo booth, trunk-or-treat, music and face painting. New this year is a preschool fun zone. Logan's Chapel UMC, 4626 Logan's Chapel Loop, Maryville: 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, Wendel Werner and Shades of Blue will present a free concert. A Love Offering will be taken. Everyone is welcome.Mt. Nebo Church, 4508 Nebo Mountain Road, Walland: A fall festival will be held on Oct. 25. Call Gary Hannah at 865-983-4990 for more details. St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 314 W. Broadway, Maryville: The church will be presenting its Holiday Bazaar from 9 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14. The event will feature baked goods, fabric arts, woodworking, holiday crafts and decor, along with collectibles and more. Townsend Artisan Guild will also participate. Proceeds go to support charities in the community including Family Promise, Community Food Connection, Good Neighbors of Blount County, A Place to Stay, John 3:16 Outreach Ministry and The Gate — Gateway to Independence. Springbrook Church, 1000 E Hunt Road, Alcoa: Multi-family yard sale, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, downstairs in Fellowship Hall. Enter parking lot from Hunt Road. Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, 2931 Kingston Pike, Knoxville: An art exhibit featuring photographs by Yvonne Dalschen and mixed media works by Susie Feinberg will be on display from Oct. 4- Dec. 2. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, with artist talks at 7 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays.
