KP dismisses 30 doctors

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department has issued a formal notification dismissing 30 doctors posted at various health facilities across the province over allegations of fake Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) registration and illegal appointments. According to the department, the decision followed a detailed review of the doctors' explanations, submitted evidence and inquiry reports. The department said it had issued show-cause notices to all the doctors and provided them with an opportunity for a personal hearing before taking action. It also decided to recover salaries and other government dues paid to the dismissed doctors during their service through legal procedures to ensure transparency in the health department.
