Two factories causing pollution sealed

An operation was conducted by a RUDA (Ravi Urban Development Authority) team under the supervision of the Environment and Enforcement Department. During the operation in the Mahmood Booti and Turkey Road areas, the administration sealed PK Industry and the Ehsan Plastic/Polythene units. Additionally, the RUDA team shut down Mashallah Steel Mills and RBS Steel factories because their scrubbers were non-functional. RUDA officials said that in line with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's directives for a 'Smog-Free Punjab,' operations within the RUDA area will continue stated the in-charge of the Environment Department.
