PHC seeks police report on recovery of KP minister

The Peshawar High Court on Friday sought a report from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) regarding the case of missing provincial minister Fazal Shakoor Khan. A two-member bench headed by Justice Syed Arshad Ali was hearing the case when the court asked the investigating officer about progress in the investigation. 'What has happened in the case so far?' the court asked. The investigating officer told the court that statements of the minister's driver and security guard had been recorded. They stated that 14 to 15 people had stopped the vehicle and taken the minister away. The court directed the police to submit a report on the matter, observing that it would examine the case after receiving the report. The bench sought a report from the IGP and adjourned the hearing.
