SC to hear Mahrang's bail plea on Oct 21

. The Supreme Court has scheduled for October 21 the bail petitions of Dr Mahrang Baloch, Beebo Baloch and Beberg Baloch in a terrorism case. A three-member bench headed by Justice MuhammadAli Mazhar will hear the petitions. Justices Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Shahid Bilal Hassan are also part of the bench. The Supreme Court has already issued notices on the petitions. Dr Mahrang, a rights activist, has been detained since March 2025 on various charges. Her lawyer Imaan Mazari is also facing different charges including those of terrorism and is also currently detained along with her husband.
