Nonfarm payrolls crept up 29,000 in September, well below the 84,000 expected, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said in astatementFriday. The unemployment rate increased to 4.2 percent."This is the exact kind of number the market wanted from a labor standpoint," Phil Blancato, chief market strategist at Osaic told CNBC Friday. "Not too hot, not too cold ... not overly great, and not weakening," he said.
