DHO intensifies disease surveillance

ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (APP):The District Health Office Islamabad has intensified field surveillance to ensure the timely detection of communicable diseases and prevent their spread, alongside health awareness activities in schools to protect children from preventable illnesses. The surveillance teams are actively monitoring the field situation to identify potential health risks at an early stage and support timely preventive measures. The DHO is also conducting health awareness activities in schools to educate students about disease prevention and promote healthy practices, as part of efforts to safeguard children's health and strengthen public health protection in Islamabad.
