SC's Justice Munib takes oath as acting CJ

PHOTO: Supreme Court Justice Munib Akhtar, the Senior Puisne Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, took oath as Acting Chief Justice, Supreme Court of Pakistan Thursday. The oath was administered by Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail. Justice Munib Akhtar shall act as Chief Justice, Supreme Court of Pakistan during the period, Justice Yahya Afridi, Chief Justice of Pakistan, remains abroad. The ceremony was attended by Judges of the Supreme Court, Director General Federal Judicial Academy, Secretary Judicial Commission of Pakistan, Secretary Supreme Judicial Council and Law officers.
