Report: Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund battling for Nathan De Cat

According to a report from Tz, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are among the chief clubs battling for RSC Anderlecht midfielder Nathan De Cat: The transfer window is open, and FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are ready to battle for Belgian midfield talent Nathan De Cat. The 17-year-old RSC Anderlecht player has established himself as one of the most sought-after talents in Europe in recent months. A thrilling transfer duel between the two top German clubs could now be on the cards. Both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are showing strong interest in Nathan De Cat . The young Belgian has established himself in Anderlecht's first team and has already made 26 competitive appearances. According to reports from Ekrem Konur on the X platform , De Cat is not only on the radar of the two German clubs, but also of Olympique Marseille and Bayer Leverkusen. However, Anderlecht plans to let the player leave no earlier than the summer, which complicates negotiations. From a Bayern Munich standpoint, a summer transfer is the preference, so this news does not affect the Bavarians as much as some other clubs. However, De Cat has good options listed above, including a few that might be a better option for playing time: Borussia Dortmund also has a strong interest in De Cat. BVB sees him as the ideal candidate for the next step in his development: young, physically robust, and tactically astute. Dortmund is known for its ability to nurture young talent and help them reach world-class levels. De Cat would fit perfectly into this concept. Anderlecht have valued the player at €35 million, a considerable sum for a 17-year-old. This valuation demonstrates the Belgian club's high regard for De Cat, and a transfer fee in the tens of millions is expected. This sum is feasible for both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, but could prove decisive in the transfer battle. Bayern Munich will have a need for a central midfielder in the summer, but the specter of Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlović, and Tom Bischof being on the roster might make some prospects wonder how many minutes will be available.
