Jurgen Klopp remains winless after two games in charge of Germany following a shock 1-0 loss at home to Greece. Ex-Liverpool boss Klopp started his tenure with a 1-1 draw in the Netherlands in their Group 2 opener in Nations League A on Thursday, but any hopes of an emotional homecoming fell flat at WWK Arena in Augsburg. After a goalless first half, the visitors broke the deadlock with 16 minutes left when fine play by Arsenal attacker Christos Tzolis set up a chance for substitute Dimitrios Kourbelis, who had a low effort deflected in to earn Greece a famous victory. In Ireland's group, Austria - who come to Dublin for Thursday's B2 encounter at the Aviva Stadium - enjoyed a 3-1 victory over Kosovo. David Affengruber opened the scoring for Ralf Rangnick's side on 23 minutes, with Junior Adamu doubling their advantage two minutes into first-half injury-time. Meanwhile, new Netherlands head coach Xavi saw his side secure a hard-fought 2-1 triumph away to Serbia, after a brace by Mexx Meerdink. Erling Haaland brushed off speculation over Manchester City's legal battle with the Premier League to score in Oslo, but it failed to prevent Norway from losing 2-1 at home to Portugal. The Group 4 clash in Nations League A went the way of new Portugal manager Jorge Jesus after Joao Felix and Goncalo Ramos struck at the start of each half. Cristiano Ronaldo was an unused substitute in Norway.
