Darazinda blast: Funeral prayers for Customs, Rescue 1122 martyrs held

Dera Ismail Khan, Sep 26 (APP): Funeral prayers for three personnel martyred in the Darazinda Aman Mela joint checkpost blast were offered with full state honours at Ejaz Shaheed Police Lines here on Saturday. The martyrs were identified as Customs Head Constable Farman, Sepoy Usama and Rescue 1122 official Sharifullah. Commissioner Dera Division Daud Khan, Station Commander Brigadier Salman Adil Shah, Regional Police Officer Ghulam Mubashir Maken, District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmad, senior officials of Customs and Rescue 1122, security forces and police officers, besides the bereaved families, attended the funeral prayers. Police contingents presented a guard of honour to the martyrs and floral wreaths were laid on their coffins. Prayers were offered for the elevation of their ranks, forgiveness and patience for the bereaved families. The participants paid tribute to the martyrs for rendering the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and said their services and sacrifices for peace and security would always be remembered. They said the nation saluted those who sacrificed their lives for the protection of the country and prayed that the sacrifices of the martyrs would not go in vain.
