The deadline for mandatory vaccination verification for passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia from Karachi Airport has been extended by one month.
The requirement for Umrah pilgrims and other travellers heading to the kingdom will now be enforced from 10am on November 20.
According to an airport circular, passengers were previously required to present vaccination cards under a policy scheduled to take effect on October 15.
Under the revised timeline, the authorities have extended the implementation date by another month.
The circular states that vaccination services are available round the clock at the government dispensary at Karachi Airport. Passengers are required to get vaccinated at least 10 days before their departure.
