Pakistan, Denmark agree to enhance bilateral cooperation

(Web Desk) - Pakistan and Denmark held the fifth round of Bilateral Political Consultations in Copenhagen. The Pakistani delegation was led by Additional Secretary for Europe, Ambassador Ayesha Ali, while the Danish side was led by State Secretary for Trade and Investments Ambassador Susanne Hyldelund. The two sides undertook a comprehensive review of bilateral relations, including political engagement, trade and investment ties, green transition and energy cooperation, people-to-people contacts, consular matters, and multilateral cooperation. They expressed satisfaction at the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Pakistan appreciated continued Danish cooperation under the Green Framework Engagement Agreement and the Strategic Sector Cooperation including the Faisalabad Wastewater Treatment Plant. The two sides agreed to maintain the momentum of bilateral engagement and continue close coordination on matters of mutual interest.
