Former GMA anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have applied for a marriage license in Arkansas ahead of their wedding
Former Good Morning America anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have taken another step toward marriage by applying for a marriage license in Arkansas.
According to TMZ, the couple applied for the license in Washington County on Sept. 18. The filing comes nearly a year after Robach and Holmes announced their engagement in October 2025.
Arkansas has a personal connection for Holmes, who was born in West Memphis, Arkansas. The couple began their relationship while working together at GMA in New York City before their romance became public in 2022.
Robach and Holmes were both married when photographs of them together surfaced in November 2022. Robach was married to actor Andrew Shue at the time, while Holmes was married to attorney Marilee Fiebig.
Their relationship prompted an internal review at ABC, and both television personalities were eventually taken off the air. Robach and Holmes left ABC in January 2023 following negotiations with the network.
Despite the public attention surrounding their relationship, the pair continued dating and later launched the podcast Amy & T.J. The podcast has featured discussions about their relationship, the scrutiny they faced and the impact of their departures from television.
Their former spouses have also since moved on. Shue and Fiebig later began dating and have appeared publicly together.
Robach and Holmes announced their engagement in October 2025, telling fans that they wanted to reveal the news themselves after previously experiencing the consequences of their relationship becoming public before they were ready.
The Arkansas marriage license application marks another milestone for the couple as they prepare for their wedding. Further details about their wedding date and ceremony have not been publicly announced.
