Rawalpindi under Army Watch as Govt approves Troop Deployment

Federal government has approved the deployment of Pakistan Army troops in Rawalpindi to assist the district administration in maintaining law and order and strengthening security arrangements in the city. According to an official notification, the decision was taken under Article 245 of the Constitution, which allows the armed forces to be called in to support civil authorities when required.
