CARROLL COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — The Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating a vehicle fire in Carroll County that left a person injured on Saturday morning.
Officials said on January 3, at 10:38 a.m., fire crews responded to the fire located at 4008 Rinehart Road in Westminster, Carroll County.
After about 15 minutes, fire crews were able to get the fire under control.

The owner of the vehicle was transported to Hopkins Bayview Burn Center for non-life-threatening injuries, authorities reported.
The preliminary cause of the fire was ruled accidental, with an estimated loss of $3500.
The fire originated at the ground vegetation underneath the car, officials said.
