Former Italy International Andrea Belotti set to join Modena

Andrea Belotti is set to join Modena , with the experienced striker expected in the city on Monday evening ahead of his medical on Tuesday. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Belotti will undergo the necessary medical examinations before completing his move to the Serie B side. The 32-year-old is a free agent after leaving Cagliari this summer and is now preparing for a new chapter in his career. Belotti's previous season was disrupted by a cruciate ligament injury suffered at the beginning of the campaign. Despite the difficulties, the striker had initially reached an agreement with Cagliari to extend his contract and remain in Serie A. However, the proposed renewal collapsed after further medical examinations indicated that his recovery would take longer than initially expected.
