Terms

1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the rules that apply when you access or use the Newshunt website at www.newshunt.io, the Newshunt mobile applications for iOS and Android, and the services, features and content made available through them (together, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, or using a feature that requires acceptance of these Terms, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

Where a particular feature, promotion, paid service or third-party platform is subject to additional terms, those additional terms will also apply to that feature. If there is a conflict, the more specific terms will apply to the relevant feature to the extent of the conflict.

2. WHO WE ARE AND HOW TO CONTACT US

The Platform is operated by THREE PILLARS FOR TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATIONS CO ("Newshunt", "we", "our" or "us"), a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Registered address: Building No. 6737, Al Olaya Street, King Fahd District, Riyadh 12271, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Commercial Registration Number: 1010353205.

General support: info@newshunt.io.

Newshunt is a digital news aggregation and discovery platform that enables users to discover and access news, live media, short-form content and related material obtained from third-party publishers, media organisations, publicly available sources and other third parties.

3. REGULATORY STATUS

We operate the Platform subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and, where applicable, in other countries or territories in which the Platform is made available. Certain activities may be subject to media, digital-content, communications, technology, consumer-protection or other licensing, registration, approval or permission requirements. Newshunt is responsible for obtaining and maintaining any permission legally required for the relevant activity and may restrict, suspend or modify a feature where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a competent authority or a licensing condition.

Nothing in these Terms should be understood as a statement that Newshunt holds a particular media or digital-content licence, registration or approval unless that status is expressly identified by Newshunt or appears in a current official record.

4. OTHER TERMS AND POLICIES THAT APPLY

Our Privacy Policy applies to our processing of Personal Data through the Platform. It explains what Personal Data we collect, why we process it, the legal bases we rely on, how we disclose and retain it, and the rights available to Data Subjects under applicable law.

Any Cookie Notice, consent interface or cookie-settings tool made available on the website explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the website and the choices available to users. Optional, non-essential technologies will be handled in accordance with applicable consent requirements.

Where you download or use a Newshunt application through Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable app-store rules and terms may also apply between you and the relevant platform provider.

Country-specific terms, notices or supplemental conditions may apply where required or appropriate for users in a particular country or territory. Those additional terms form part of these Terms for the users to whom they apply and will prevail to the extent of any conflict where required by applicable law.

5. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, our services, applicable law, regulatory requirements, security requirements or our business practices.

The current version will be made available through the Platform together with its last-updated date. Where a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practicable or required by applicable law.

Your continued use of the Platform after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where separate affirmative acceptance is legally required, we will request it. An update will not reduce rights that have already accrued to you where applicable law does not permit that result.

6. AVAILABILITY OF THE PLATFORM

We aim to keep the Platform available and functioning, but we do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may update, suspend, restrict, withdraw or modify all or part of the Platform for operational, technical, security, legal, regulatory, licensing or business reasons. Where a material withdrawal affects a paid service, any mandatory consumer rights will continue to apply.

7. INTERNATIONAL AVAILABILITY

The Platform is intended to be accessible internationally, including in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but availability is not guaranteed in every country or territory. Features, content, app-store availability and functionality may differ by country or region because of applicable law, regulatory requirements, sanctions or trade restrictions, publisher or content licences, app-store rules, technical requirements or other legitimate reasons.

If you use the Platform outside Saudi Arabia, laws in your location may apply to your use. We may restrict access to particular content, services, features or territories where reasonably necessary for licensing, sanctions or trade controls, legal, regulatory, technical or operational reasons. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or waives mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under the law of your country or territory where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived.

8. AGE AND LEGAL CAPACITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform or create an account. If applicable law requires a higher minimum age for a particular feature, for entering into these Terms, or for giving a legally valid consent without parental or guardian involvement, that higher requirement applies. If you are below the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction or otherwise lack full legal capacity, you may use the Platform only with the involvement and, where required by applicable law, the consent or authorization of your parent or legal guardian.

Where Newshunt relies on consent to process Personal Data relating to a person who lacks full or partial legal capacity, any parental or guardian involvement, consent and verification will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection law, including the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and its Implementing Regulations where applicable.

An app-store age rating is a content or distribution rating and does not by itself determine whether a person has legal capacity to enter into these Terms or provide a valid consent.

The Platform is not intended for children under 13. If we become aware that an account is being used by a person below the applicable minimum age, we may restrict or close the account and take any other steps required by applicable law.

9. ACCOUNTS AND ACCOUNT SECURITY

Certain parts of the Platform allow users to create or use an account. Depending on the device or version of the Platform, authentication methods may include email and password credentials, one-time passcodes (OTP), Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In.

You must provide accurate and current account information and take reasonable steps to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

You must notify us promptly at info@newshunt.io if you reasonably believe that your account or login credentials have been compromised.

We may temporarily restrict access to an account where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, misuse, unauthorised access, security incidents, breaches of these Terms or legal requirements. Any restriction will be proportionate to the relevant risk and subject to mandatory rights under applicable law.

You may stop using the Platform at any time and may request deletion of your account through the in-app account-deletion functionality, through the website deletion page at https://newshunt.io/profile/delete, or by contacting info@newshunt.io. Account deletion and retention of associated Personal Data are subject to the Privacy Policy and any retention required or permitted by applicable law.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

We are the owner or licensee of intellectual property rights in the Newshunt Platform, including our software, interface, branding, databases, original text, graphics and other material created or licensed by us. Those rights are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and treaties.

Third-party Publisher Content remains subject to the rights of the relevant publisher, author, agency, licensor or other rights-holder. Displaying, indexing, organising, linking to, storing or making Publisher Content accessible through Newshunt does not transfer ownership of that content to Newshunt or to you.

Newshunt's access to and use of Publisher Content is subject to applicable licences, permissions, contractual rights and lawful exceptions or limitations under applicable intellectual-property law. Nothing in these Terms authorises Newshunt or any user to reproduce, distribute, communicate, adapt or otherwise exploit Publisher Content beyond the rights lawfully available for that use.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial use. This licence does not grant any right to copy, republish, distribute, sell, license or commercially exploit Publisher Content except where the relevant rights-holder or applicable law permits that use.

11. NEWS AGGREGATION, PUBLISHER CONTENT AND PERSONALISATION

Newshunt is a news aggregation and discovery service. The Platform may display, index, organise, rank or provide access to headlines, articles, reports, images, logos, videos, live media, short-form content, links, metadata and other material originating from third-party publishers, news organisations, media providers, publicly available sources, feeds or other third parties ("Publisher Content").

Where available, Newshunt will identify the original publisher or source and may provide access to the original content or source. Publishers and other third parties may update, restrict, remove or discontinue their content at any time.

Where Publisher Content is displayed in full, cached, stored or otherwise reproduced by Newshunt, Newshunt will do so only where it has a licence, permission, contractual right or another lawful basis for that use. Newshunt does not claim authorship of Publisher Content and, except for technical processing or formatting, will not materially alter Publisher Content unless the change is clearly identified and lawfully permitted.

Newshunt may use automated technologies to select, organize, rank or recommend content. The main parameters that may influence recommendations include: (a) sources and categories you expressly follow or select; (b) language, country and regional preferences; (c) relevance, recency and availability of content; and, where permitted by applicable law and supported by the relevant consent or other lawful basis, (d) articles or media you view, searches, bookmarks, reactions, reading activity and location information where enabled. Explicit choices such as followed sources, selected categories and language or regional preferences are generally important signals; observed activity may further refine recommendations. The relative weight of these factors may vary by feature, content type and context.

You can influence recommendations through controls made available on the Platform, including following or unfollowing sources or categories, changing language or regional preferences, managing location permissions and changing applicable consent or personalisation choices. Certain preferences, including language, country, region and location-based preferences where enabled, may be available without creating or signing into an account. Depending on the Platform, those preferences may be stored using cookies, local storage or storage on your device. Account-based features such as following or unfollowing sources and submitting comments require you to be signed in. Where Newshunt offers more than one ranking or recommendation option, any legally required selection control will be made available through the relevant interface.

Automated ranking or recommendation does not mean that Newshunt endorses a particular publisher, article, viewpoint or opinion.

12. PUBLISHER, RIGHTS-HOLDER AND CORRECTION REQUESTS

If you are a publisher, author, rights-holder or authorised representative and believe that content available through the Platform infringes your rights, is attributed incorrectly, is materially inaccurate, or should otherwise be restricted or removed, please notify us using the contact below. This process is intended to enable rights-holders to report alleged infringement or misuse of protected content.

Please provide: (a) your name and contact details; (b) enough information to identify the protected work or other right concerned; (c) the location or URL of the content on Newshunt; (d) the basis on which you say the content infringes or should be corrected, restricted or removed; (e) your authority to act for the rights-holder, where relevant; and (f) the action you are requesting. We may ask for further information or supporting evidence where reasonably necessary to assess the request.

We will assess notices in good faith and, where appropriate, correct, update, restrict, disable or remove access to content within a reasonable period in accordance with applicable law, contractual obligations and our internal procedures. Where we become aware of content that infringes rights or is unlawful, we may act without prior notice where reasonably necessary or legally required. Where a jurisdiction provides a formal notice-and-takedown, counter-notice or appeal process, we will apply that process to the extent it is legally applicable to Newshunt.

13. TEXT AND DATA MINING, SCRAPING AND AUTOMATED ACCESS

Except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law and incapable of lawful restriction, you must not conduct, facilitate or authorise web scraping, crawling, bulk extraction, text or data mining, automated copying or similar automated access to the Platform without our prior written permission.

You must not use automated tools in a manner that overloads, bypasses, disrupts, damages or interferes with the Platform, its security controls, rate limits, technical measures or other users.

14. USER-PROVIDED CONTENT, MODERATION AND REPORTING

Newshunt may allow signed-in users to provide limited content such as a profile image, comments, feedback or support messages ("User Content"). You retain any ownership rights you hold in your User Content. Comments and profile images submitted through public-facing features may be visible to other users and members of the public. You should not include Personal Data, confidential information or other information in public User Content that you do not wish to make publicly available.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, process and otherwise use User Content only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate the relevant feature, provide the Platform, comply with law, protect the Platform or act on your instructions. This licence ends when the User Content is deleted from our systems, except to the extent continued retention or processing is required or permitted by law, reasonably necessary for security or dispute purposes, or technically unavoidable in temporary backups.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide your User Content and to grant the licence above, and that doing so does not infringe another person's intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights.

You must not provide User Content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, fraudulent, misleading, malicious, invasive of privacy or otherwise contrary to these Terms or applicable law. You must also not use User Content to distribute spam, unsolicited commercial communications, deceptive or malicious links, or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.

We may moderate, label, reduce the visibility of, restrict, disable or remove User Content where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, enforce these Terms, respond to a competent authority, address a valid report or rights-holder notice, or protect users from unlawful or harmful conduct. Depending on the feature and risk, moderation may involve automated signals or tools, human review, or a combination of both. We aim to apply enforcement measures in a reasonable and proportionate manner, taking account of the nature, seriousness, frequency and consequences of the conduct.

Users and affected persons may report User Content or other content through any reporting functionality made available on the Platform or by contacting info@newshunt.io. Where required by applicable law, we will provide the affected user with the principal reason for a material moderation decision and information about any available complaint, appeal or review process. Repeated or serious misuse, including repeated infringement of intellectual-property rights, may result in account restriction or termination in accordance with section 25.

Where we use proactive technology to detect or restrict categories of unlawful or prohibited content, we will describe the material categories and the role of that technology in these Terms or an applicable policy where required by law. We do not undertake a general obligation to monitor all content except where applicable law requires otherwise.

15. ACCURACY OF NEWS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Publisher Content is created, supplied or controlled by third parties. Third-party content and opinions do not necessarily represent Newshunt's views.

Although we may take reasonable steps to operate the Platform responsibly, Publisher Content may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate or become outdated. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, reliability, timeliness or continued availability of Publisher Content.

You should verify information that is important to a decision directly with the original source or another appropriate source.

16. CONTENT IS FOR GENERAL INFORMATION ONLY

Content available through the Platform is provided for general information and news-discovery purposes. It is not intended to constitute legal, financial, medical, investment, professional or other specialist advice.

You should obtain appropriate professional advice before taking or refraining from action where specialist advice is appropriate.

17. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, publishers, platforms or services. Links are provided for information, access and news-discovery purposes and do not, by themselves, constitute an endorsement or guarantee by Newshunt.

Independent third parties control their own content, availability, security, terms and privacy practices. When you access a third-party service, that third party's terms and privacy practices may apply.

18. LIVE MEDIA, VIDEO AND THIRD-PARTY MEDIA SERVICES

Newshunt may provide access to live television, video, short-form media or other media supplied by third-party providers, including YouTube.

For YouTube content, Newshunt may obtain and store YouTube video identifiers and related metadata through a third-party API service. Newshunt does not host or proxy the underlying YouTube video content. When you play YouTube content on the website, playback is provided through YouTube's embedded player; in the mobile applications, playback is provided through a YouTube player using the relevant YouTube video URL or identifier. Playback may cause your device to connect directly to YouTube, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and device or browser information and process it in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices. Other live-media or third-party media integrations may similarly cause your device to connect to the relevant provider. Newshunt does not grant you any rights in third-party media beyond the access made available by the relevant provider or rights-holder.

Availability of third-party media may depend on the provider, your location, licensing restrictions, device compatibility and internet connection.

19. ADVERTISING, SPONSORED CONTENT AND COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS

At the date of these Terms, no advertising functionality is live on the Newshunt website, and the website does not use advertising SDKs, advertising identifiers, behavioural advertising, retargeting or advertising-related attribution/tracking. Advertising, sponsored content, promoted material, affiliate content or other commercial communications may be introduced in the future. Before advertising or advertising-related tracking is activated, Newshunt will review and update the relevant privacy disclosures, consent controls and app-store disclosures as required by applicable law. Where required, advertisements or sponsored communications will be clearly identifiable as commercial content and accompanied by legally required transparency information.

The presence of an advertisement does not mean that Newshunt endorses the advertiser, product or service.

Any future use of Personal Data for advertising, measurement, attribution or personalisation will be governed by our Privacy Policy, applicable consent requirements and other applicable law. Where prohibited by applicable law, Newshunt will not use special or sensitive categories of Personal Data for profiling-based advertising and will not present profiling-based advertising to a user when Newshunt is aware with reasonable certainty that the user is a minor. At the date of these Terms, Newshunt does not use advertising or marketing cookies on the website. If advertising or related tracking functionality is introduced or materially changed, we will update the relevant disclosures, consent controls and app-store disclosures before or when the relevant processing begins, as required by law.

20. FREE AND PAID SERVICES; ELECTRONIC CONTRACTING

At the date of these Terms, Newshunt is available without a subscription fee. Your telecommunications provider may charge you for internet or mobile data used to access the Platform.

We may introduce subscriptions, premium functionality, in-app purchases or other paid services in the future. Before you enter into a paid transaction, we will provide the information required by applicable law, including the identity of the service provider, the main characteristics of the service, total price and applicable charges or taxes, billing frequency, payment arrangements, performance or delivery arrangements, subscription or renewal terms, cancellation method, and any applicable refund, withdrawal or warranty terms. Where required by law, we will obtain any express consent required for recurring charges, immediate supply of digital content or services, or acknowledgement of any effect on a statutory withdrawal right.

Where an electronic contract is concluded, the steps required to accept the offer and complete the transaction will be presented through the relevant website, application or app-store flow. You will have an opportunity to review and correct material transaction information before completing a paid purchase. Where required by applicable law, we will provide an electronic confirmation or invoice in a form that you can retain.

If a paid service is offered, the transaction-specific terms shown before purchase will form part of the contract for that service. Those terms will not exclude or reduce any mandatory consumer right.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any mandatory cancellation, refund, withdrawal or other consumer right available under the Saudi E-Commerce Law or other applicable law.

21. MOBILE APPLICATIONS, APP STORES AND DEVICE PERMISSIONS

Your use of a Newshunt mobile application may also be subject to the rules and terms of the app store through which you obtained it.

The Newshunt mobile applications may request device permissions that are reasonably necessary for particular features. The iOS application uses IP-derived country/city information and does not request or collect approximate or precise device/GPS location. The Android application may request optional approximate or precise location permission; if granted, the app obtains the current latitude and longitude and sends them to the Newshunt API to determine country and language code. If Android location permission is denied or unavailable, the app can use network/geocoding information and, if necessary, SIM/network country information instead. Notifications and access to photos or media may also be requested where relevant to a feature. You can manage available permissions through your device settings.

Newshunt may issue application updates for security, performance, compatibility, compliance or functionality. Certain features may not work correctly if required updates are not installed or your device is no longer compatible.

22. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE WEBSITE AND MOBILE APPLICATIONS

Features and data practices may differ between the website, iOS application and Android application. In particular, precise/approximate device location is not collected on the website or iOS application, while the Android application may use optional location permission as described in section 21. Accounts, sign-in methods, personalised feeds, live media, short-form content, notifications, bookmarks and other functions may also differ by platform or country.

Unless a provision clearly relates only to a website, app store, mobile-device permission or other platform-specific feature, these Terms apply to the Platform generally.

23. ACCEPTABLE USE

You must use the Platform lawfully. In particular, you must not use the Platform in a way that is fraudulent, misleading, abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, extremist, obscene, infringing, invasive of privacy or otherwise contrary to applicable law, public order or public morals. You must also not:

·  impersonate another person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with them;

·  obtain or attempt to obtain unauthorised access to an account, system, database or restricted part of the Platform;

·  interfere with, disable, damage or overload the Platform or another user's use of it;

·  introduce malicious code, malware, spyware or other harmful technology;

·  use the Platform to facilitate unlawful activity or infringement of another person's rights;

·        copy, republish, distribute, commercially exploit or remove rights-management information from Publisher Content except where you are lawfully entitled to do so; or

·  encourage, assist or permit another person to breach these Terms.

24. SECURITY, VIRUSES AND MISUSE

We use reasonable measures to protect the Platform, but no online service can guarantee complete security or freedom from bugs, viruses or other harmful material.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your own device, account and network. You must not knowingly introduce harmful code, attempt to circumvent security controls, probe for vulnerabilities without authorisation, carry out denial-of-service activity or interfere with systems used to provide Newshunt.

We may report suspected unlawful activity to competent authorities and cooperate with lawful investigations where permitted or required by law.

25. SUSPENSION, RESTRICTION AND TERMINATION

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to all or part of the Platform where we reasonably believe that you have materially or repeatedly breached these Terms, your use presents a security or legal risk, your use infringes another person's rights, action is necessary to prevent fraud or harm, a competent authority requires action, or the relevant service or feature is being discontinued.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide reasonable notice before materially restricting or terminating an account or paid service and, where practicable, explain the principal reason. Immediate action may be taken where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, protection of rights or prevention of harm. Where applicable law requires an internal complaint, appeal or review mechanism, information about that mechanism will be provided with or following the decision. Nothing in this section limits your right to stop using the Platform or request account deletion. Where required to maintain an applicable copyright safe harbour or otherwise required by law, Newshunt may adopt and reasonably implement a policy for terminating repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

26. OUR LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, consumer protection, remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. In particular, no provision is intended to exclude liability for fraud or gross negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or liability arising from a harmful act to the extent it cannot be excluded by agreement under applicable law.

Subject to the preceding paragraph and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Newshunt is not responsible for loss or damage to the extent it results from your reliance on third-party Publisher Content; inaccuracies, omissions or changes in Publisher Content; temporary interruption of the Platform; the independent acts or omissions of third-party websites or services; or circumstances outside our reasonable control, except to the extent the loss or damage was caused by Newshunt in a manner for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

The Platform is provided primarily for personal, domestic and non-commercial use. We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful.

27. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

We process Personal Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection and privacy laws, including the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and its Implementing Regulations where applicable. Other national or regional privacy laws may apply depending on your location and Newshunt's activities in that jurisdiction.

The Privacy Policy explains, among other matters, our use of account and authentication information, reading and search activity, device and technical information, personalisation, platform-specific location practices, Google Analytics and Firebase technologies on the website, Firebase Analytics in the Android application, cookies and similar technologies, and the rights and choices available to users.

Where consent is required for a processing activity, consent will be requested separately from acceptance of these Terms, will not be made a condition of an unrelated service where prohibited by law, and can be withdrawn in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

28. COMPLAINTS AND CONTACT

If you have a complaint or question about Newshunt or these Terms, or wish to report content or an enforcement decision, please use any relevant reporting or Contact Us functionality on the Platform or contact us by email. The reporting and complaint routes will be designed to be reasonably accessible and usable, and any additional complaint rights required by applicable law will remain available.

Customer complaints and general content reports: info@newshunt.io. Newshunt supports customer communications in Arabic, English and Urdu.

Privacy-related requests should be made using the contact details set out in our Privacy Policy. Publisher, copyright, correction and takedown requests should be submitted using the process described in section 12 above.

We will handle complaints in accordance with applicable legal obligations and our internal procedures. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising any right to complain to a competent authority where applicable.

29. TRANSFER OF OUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

We may transfer or assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to another company within our group or to another organisation in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale or transfer of all or part of the Newshunt business, subject to applicable law. Where a transfer materially affects your rights and notice is required by law, we will provide that notice.

Any associated processing of Personal Data will be carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

30. SEVERABILITY AND NO WAIVER

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or, if necessary, removed. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it or another provision later.

31. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

If you are a consumer, the choice of Saudi law in this section does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law of the country in which you habitually reside where those protections cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement. Subject to those mandatory rights, the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will have jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform. If applicable law gives you a mandatory right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence or another jurisdiction, nothing in these Terms removes that right. This does not prevent either party from using a competent regulatory, administrative, consumer-dispute or alternative dispute-resolution process where available or required by law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict mandatory consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

32. LANGUAGE

These Terms may be published in Arabic, English and Urdu and may also be translated into other languages where appropriate or required by applicable law. The language versions are intended to have the same substantive meaning. For users in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arabic version will prevail in the event of a conflict or inconsistency to the extent permitted or required by applicable Saudi law. For users outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the English version will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law unless mandatory local law requires a different language version or interpretation to prevail.

33. COUNTRY-SPECIFIC TERMS AND MANDATORY RIGHTS

These Terms are intended to operate as global master terms. Newshunt may publish country- or region-specific supplemental terms, notices or policies where required or appropriate. If a country-specific term conflicts with these Terms, the country-specific term will apply to the extent stated in it or required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or waives any mandatory consumer, digital-services, online-safety, privacy, intellectual-property, accessibility or other protection that applies to you and cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived. Newshunt may make additional contact details, regulatory representatives, complaint routes, disclosures or statutory notices available for particular jurisdictions where required by law.

34. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with any country-specific or feature-specific terms expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement between you and Newshunt concerning your use of the Platform. The Privacy Policy, Cookie Notice and other legally required notices describe data-protection and technology practices and do not reduce any mandatory rights available to you under applicable law.

A note on cookies

Newshunt uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language and country, so the site works the way you expect. With your permission, we'd also like to use analytics cookies to understand how people use Newshunt and improve it over time.

Accepting only affects analytics. To learn more, view our Privacy Policy or Terms & Conditions.
