IMG Academy's Fletcher Rodbro led the way by becoming the first Florida boy to break 15 minutes this season. Marcelo Mantecon and Armando Cruz followed with two of the week's top three performances, leading a fast Florida Horse Park Invitational that produced seven sub-16 efforts.
Week Three of the 2026 Florida cross country season produced a new state-leading sub-15:00 performance, 11 sub-16-minute efforts, and several impressive season debuts.
The Florida Horse Park Invitational accounted for six of the statewide top 10 and seven of the week's 11 sub-16 performances. IMG Academy placed Rodbro and Pfuhl inside the top four, while the St. Cloud XC Invite produced two runners separated by less than one-third of a second.

1. Fletcher Rodbro
, IMG Academy - 14:54.00
Junior Fletcher Rodbro raced to the top of Florida's season rankings with a 14:54.00 performance at the IMGA XC Summit Challenge. Rodbro became Florida's first boy to break 15 minutes during the 2026 season. His performance was 28.04 seconds faster than the next-best time of Week Three and lowered the previous state-leading mark of 15:06.00.
2. Marcelo Mantecon
, Belen Jesuit - 15:22.04
Marcelo Mantecon opened his 2026 campaign with a victory at the 13th Florida Horse Park Invitational. The Belen Jesuit senior crossed the finish line in 15:22.04, leading seven boys under 16 minutes and recording Florida's second-fastest performance of Week Three. He's arguably the top ranked boy in the nation and well see him go faster as we head further into the season.
3. Armando Cruz
, Belen Jesuit - 15:24.35
Senior Armando Cruz finished just 2.31 seconds behind Mantecon at the Florida Horse Park Invitational. Cruz recorded a time of 15:24.35 to give Belen Jesuit two of the three fastest performances in Florida during Week Three. It was his second top-three statewide performance through the opening three weeks.
4. James Pfuhl
, IMG Academy - 15:37.40
James Pfuhl gave IMG Academy a second runner inside the statewide top four. The senior ran 15:37.40 at the IMGA XC Summit Challenge, joining Rodbro among Florida's fastest Week Three performers.
5. Luis Rivera
, St. Cloud - 15:43.41
Senior Luis Rivera followed his strong Week Two performance with an even faster effort at the St. Cloud XC Invite. Rivera crossed the line in 15:43.41, improving by more than 21 seconds from the 16:04.54 he ran at the Kowboy XC Invitational. His latest performance placed him fifth in the Week Three rankings.
6. Gabriel Harris
, Lake Wales - 15:43.72
Only 0.31 seconds separated Gabriel Harris from Rivera in the statewide rankings. The Lake Wales senior posted a 15:43.72 at the St. Cloud XC Invite, giving the meet two of Florida's six fastest performances of the week.
7. Quentin Thompson
, Lake Minneola - 15:46.78
Quentin Thompson joined the deep sub-16-minute group at the Florida Horse Park Invitational. The Lake Minneola senior finished in 15:46.78, giving him Florida's seventh-fastest performance of Week Three.
8. Douglas Seth
, Flagler Palm Coast - 15:52.65
Sophomore Douglas Seth continued his impressive start to the season with a 15:52.65 at the Florida Horse Park Invitational. The Flagler Palm Coast runner improved by nearly seven seconds from the 15:59.50 he recorded in his win at the Spikes and Spurs Classic during Week One.
9. Landon Watkins
, Sickles - 15:57.85
Landon Watkins broke 16 minutes with a 15:57.85 performance at the Florida Horse Park Invitational. The junior improved upon the 16:03.50 he ran to win the Ragin' Storm XC Challenge during Week One. His Florida Horse Park effort earned him the No. 9 position in the Week Three rankings.
10. Jonas Williams
, Newsome - 15:58.29
Jonas Williams completed the statewide top 10 with a 15:58.29 at the Florida Horse Park Invitational. The Newsome senior improved by more than 18 seconds from his Week Two time of 16:16.48 at the Lake Region-George Whitmire Invitational.
