NEW YORK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2026) The schedule for speeches by world leaders at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly has been released. According to the schedule, Trump, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Emmanuel Macron and several other world leaders will address the General Assembly on the first day, while the general debate will continue from September 22 to 28. The session will begin at 9 a.m.
on September 22, with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva as the first speaker, followed by the US president.
The morning session will also feature speeches by Jordan 's King Abdullah II, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the leaders of Lithuania, Peru, Chile and France, among others. The afternoon session, beginning at 3 p.m.
on September 22, will feature leaders from Mongolia, South Korea, Suriname, Sierra Leone, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland and Vietnam, among other countries. The prime ministers of the United Kingdom and Japan are also included among the speakers for the first day's afternoon session.
