iPhone 18 Pro colours leaked ahead of Apple event

Apple's upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max could arrive in a significantly different colour palette, with recent leaks pointing to Dark Cherry, Sky Blue and either Silver or Black. The new colour rumours have surfaced just days before Apple's expected September 9 launch event, where the company is expected to unveil its next-generation iPhone lineup. According to prominent leaker Sonny Dickson, the iPhone 18 Pro models could be offered in Silver, Dark Cherry and Sky Blue. Dickson shared an image on X purportedly showing SIM trays matching the three reported colours. However, another leaker has offered a different version of the lineup. Silver or Black? Leaker Fixed Focus Digital claimed on Weibo that the iPhone 18 Pro range will instead feature Dark Cherry, Sky Blue and Black, suggesting that Silver may not make the final cut. With Apple yet to confirm any of the colours, it remains unclear which version, if either, is accurate. The reported palette would mark a departure from the brighter Cosmic Orange finish associated with the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The leaks also suggest Apple could be moving away from extremely dark shades, with none of the rumoured iPhone 18 Pro colours appearing as dark as the previous generation's Deep Blue. What about the foldable iPhone Ultra? Apple's much-rumoured foldable iPhone Ultra is also expected to make an appearance, although its colours remain the subject of conflicting leaks. Previous reports have suggested that Apple's first foldable iPhone will be available in black and white. A recent claim from leaker Evan Blass suggested a possible third model with a reddish finish. However, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman disputed the claim, saying the images shared by Blass were actually renders of a Xiaomi device. Blass subsequently deleted the post. With Apple's event now less than a week away, the lack of additional evidence for a third colour has strengthened expectations that the foldable iPhone Ultra will initially be offered in just black and white. Apple expected to settle the colour debate soon The conflicting leaks mean Apple's September 9 event could finally settle the question of which colours will be available across its new premium iPhone models. For now, Dark Cherry and Sky Blue appear repeatedly in the iPhone 18 Pro rumours, while the third colour remains disputed between Silver and Black. The iPhone Ultra, meanwhile, is most widely expected to stick to a more conservative black-and-white combination. Apple has not officially confirmed the colours of either device.
