QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — An NYPD cadet is accused of punching a man who had allegedly slapped his mother's buttocks in the family home in Queens, according to sources.
NYPD Cadet Thupten Tenzin, 23, was arrested Monday and charged with assault, police said.
Tenzin is accused of attacking Dinesh Thapa, 34, after Thapa allegedly slapped the cadet's mother, 50, on the buttocks, according to sources.
Thapa was arrested and charged with forcible touching, police said.
It was unclear how the defendants knew each other.
Their arraignments were pending on Tuesday.
