Girl Scouts of the USA unveiled Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Both will be available exclusively online for direct shipping beginning Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2027, when the national Girl Scout Cookie season begins.
Patch Pals are the organization's first cookies created for dogs. Developed with BARK, the soft-baked treats are blueberry muffin-flavored and feature one of four patch designs representing Girl Scout experiences.
Girl Scout Sparkables are the first allergy-friendly cookies in the Girl Scout lineup. Developed with Partake, the crunchy oatmeal cookies feature chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles and are made in a facility that avoids nine major food allergens.
The two new offerings will be available alongside classics like Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel deLites, and Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs. Girl Scouts said the new cookies were inspired by members around the country who pushed for more options that meet the different needs of their communities.
Girl Scout Cookie season is recognized nationally from January through April, though local dates vary by region. Participants earn badges like My First Cookie Business and My Cookie Team while learning goal-setting, money management, and decision-making skills.
You can sign up for updates about the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season on the organization's website or by texting "Cookies" to 59618.
