Lahore Drivers Can Now Challenge E-Challans Without Leaving Home

Lahore Traffic Police has launched an online facility allowing citizens to challenge e-challans they believe were issued in error, eliminating the need to visit a traffic police office in person. According to Lahore Traffic Police, the service is available through the e-challan portal of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority. Motorists who wish to dispute a challan can now do so entirely online. To use the facility, citizens must visit the official PSCA e-challan portal and enter the required details to locate their challan. Once the challan opens, they can review its details and, if they believe it was issued incorrectly, select the 'Review' option. Applicants are then required to submit the relevant information as prompted by the portal to complete their review request. Authorities will examine the disputed challan and the accompanying complaint before reaching a decision. Applicants will be notified once the review process concludes. The initiative is aimed at simplifying the process for citizens contesting incorrect or disputed e-challans from home, while reducing the burden on traffic police offices.
