Des Moines fire crews responded Tuesday morning to reports of black smoke near an underpass in downtown Des Moines.
The smoke was seen emerging from the underpass beneath the University Avenue bridge.
Des Moines fire officials confirmed the fire came from a burned tent. The cause of the fire is not yet known, but nobody was injured.
