September 9 – 16, 2027 Dear Friend, I'm so so thrilled to announce my nextEuropean art retreat,this time on a sunny, gorgeous Greek island, at our very own venue with a pretty studio just for us, where all our needs are taken care of so we can make art, eat yummy food, make new friends and delight in a few exciting adventures. Thisretreatis a creative art buffet, and my goal is to inspire you to paint gorgeous florals, Greek food and scenes, try out stylish detailed borders, vibe off of vintage motifs & smudge some lovely pastel textures. I'll demonstrate how I use Procreate with traditional media scanned into Procreate, and share my favorite brushes. (I make it easy.) The retreat is a wonderful way to get you excited about your art, enrich your style and, if you like, make portfolio pieces. All levels, all goals invited. Imagine your week: sipping coffee in our own villa, visiting Navagio beach, Zante town, making art all day... and being served three beautiful meals daily. De-stressing. Making new friends. May I brag about my typical attendees? They are warm, fun, and lovely. You will be in good company and make fast friends. 'But Lilla,' you ask, 'how will I come up with ideas for what to draw?' I love to inspire with tantalizing supplies, lush imagery, and lots of play. Each day on theretreat, I'll demonstrate some scrumptious art thing—a medium, a technique. You'll get 5 beautifully printed cards of imagery to draw every morning that you'll keep in your own little vintage sari pouch. I kind of go over the deep end with the number of handouts I make for you, with tantalizing visuals to draw, keyed into the art materials of the day. You can work in any art supply you like. Do you love gouache? Are you happiest with watercolor, pen and ink, acrylic paint markers? Have you dabbled in pastels? Are you a Procreate person? I demo them all and you can do work in any art material you like. I'm sure I'll have new tricks for you. Each day, I will offer three different assignments, your choice: ·The Relaxing Assignment: easy, calming, meditative, fun ·The Challenge Assignment: portfolio-worthy if you like ·The Procreate Assignment: Work exclusively in Procreate on your iPad, or bring your traditional art into Procreate.
