President Lee Jae Myung, who is on a state visit to France, arrived in Paris on the 7th (local time). The president is scheduled to carry out a two-day bilateral agenda in Paris on the 8th and 9th. First, on the 8th, he will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arc de Triomphe, attend an official welcome ceremony hosted by the French government, and then have a one-on-one luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. Following this, he will hold an expanded summit meeting attended by representatives from both countries. After the summit, events such as a "Korea-France Business Roundtable" involving over 20 companies from both countries and a state banquet hosted by President Macron and his spouse will proceed. On the 9th, President Lee plans to meet with Bruno Pierre, President of the French National Assembly, hold a luncheon meeting with compatriots, and then have a meeting with Mathias Cormann, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
