ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office (FO) has said Pakistan categorically rejects India's statement regarding the Hindu temple at Adda Siraj, Narowal Indian Ministry of External Affairs gave false and politically motivated statement. Rejecting Indian statement Affairs regarding the Hindu temple at Adda Siraj, Narowal Foreign Office Spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan said temple's structure was damaged on 21st July this year due to torrential rains. Local administration has already conducted survey and steps for restoration of the building. It is, therefore, shameful that India is distorting facts and resorting to cheap gimmicks. Such deliberate distortion of facts cannot distract attention from India's abysmal record of systematic persecution of minorities and state-sponsored attacks against their places of worship. The spokesperson said the world is well aware of using Hindutva ideology as weapon against the minorities and it must hold the Indian leadership accountable for the persecution of Muslim, Sikh and Christian communities.
