Jazan Industrial Chemistry Society Holds Workshops on Green Chemistry, Nanotechnology

Jizan, October ( وكالة الأنباء السعودية ۔ 21 اكتوبر 2026ء) The first workshop covered using the ChemSpider chemical database in scientific research, as well as the principles of green chemistry and sustainable practices. It attracted 70 participants. The second workshop focused on nanotechnology, its industrial applications, and ways to turn laboratory research into products and manufacturing processes. It attracted 68 participants. JICS Chairman Dr. Majid Almashnowi said the workshops benefited 138 trainees over six hours of training, with 14 volunteers participating. The workshops are part of the society's efforts to connect scientific research with industry needs.
