Girl Scouts is introducing two new cookies for the 2027 Cookie Season; one that's allergy friendly and one that's created just for dogs. Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois announced two first-of-their-kind additions to the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie lineup. Patch Pals, developed with BARK, and Girl Scout Sparkables, developed with Partake, make their debut early next year. The cookies, available exclusively online, join classics like Thin Mints, Samoas and Tagalongs and were inspired by Girl Scouts who have advocated for expanding the cookie lineup to meet the diverse needs of their communities. (GSEIWI) (GSEIWI) Patch Pals offer a fun new way for dogs to be a part of the fun. Developed with BARK and inspired by Girl Scouts' love for their dogs, the soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies have been baked to feature one of four 'patch' designs, representing iconic Girl Scout experiences. (GSEIWI) Girl Scout Sparkables is the first-ever Girl Scout cookie developed for families dealing with certain food allergies. They were developed with Partake in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens. The crunchy oatmeal cookies feature chocolate chips and is dotted with colorful sprinkles, allowing families dealing with the most common food allergies to feel more included during Girl Scout Cookie season.
