US equities are seeing sharp divergence at midday, with a cluster of energy infrastructure and technology names surging whilst pharmaceutical stocks face heavy selling pressure. Leading the gainers, Roivant Sciences (ROIV) has jumped 19.81% to $41.85, topping the leaderboard in a strong session for the biotech. Solaris Energy Infrastructure (SEI) is close behind, climbing 16.36% to $64.00, as energy infrastructure plays attract fresh interest. Nuclear power developer NuScale Power (SMR) has added 15.10% to reach $11.16, whilst AI infrastructure darling CoreWeave (CRWV) has surged 14.77% to $102.56. Fermi Inc. (FRMI) rounds out the top five, gaining 12.89% to $5.78. On the other side of the ledger, pharmaceutical names are bearing the brunt of the day's selling. Dyne Therapeutics (DYN) has tumbled 15.20% to $20.59, whilst Swiss pharma giant Novartis (NVS) has shed 13.89% to $137.78 — a notable decline for a large-cap name. Beam Therapeutics (BEAM) has fallen 12.46% to $25.96, with Structure Therapeutics (GPCR) down 9.92% to $42.65. Amgen (AMGN) is also under pressure, dropping 9.56% to $395.44. The session's clear theme is rotation away from pharma and towards energy infrastructure and AI-related plays.
