Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum defended the country's electoral system following warnings from former Colombian President Gustavo Petro about possible manipulation using algorithms, artificial intelligence and social media. Sheinbaum said that elections in Mexico are organized by the National Electoral Institute, while the results are certified by the Electoral Tribunal.
